NRC: Fijian Drua Remain Winless

The Fiji Airways Fijian Drua are on the verge of not making the playoff of the 2019 Australian National Rugby Championship.
This was after the Senirusi Seruvakula-coached side have yet to register a win in the third round of the competition yesterday
After securing a 22-22 draw against Brisbane City and 15-38 thrashing by Western Force, the team drew 24-24 with NSW Country Eagles at the WIN Stadium in Sydney.
After leading 24-17 towards the end, the Eagles scored through a concerted effort by the forwards which was converted.
The defending champions scored through prop Joeli Veitayaki, rookie lock Epeli Radaniva and Aporosa Tabulawaki with Enele Malele slotting the conversions and Serepepeli Vularika kicking a penalty.
The Drua must score bonus wins in the remaining four games to qualify for the playoff.
It starts this Saturday as they host Sydney at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
Meanwhile, Sydney have put their NRC season back on track with a 47-26 win over Queensland Country in a massive upset at Woollahra Oval.
Country were among the competition favourites this season and while they lost their opening match by just a point in a high-scoring clash against the Force in Perth, they underlined their status with a strong win against Canberra on the Gold Coast last week.
But Sydney were desperate after two losses on the trot and bolstered by the return of their Randwick players.
Other result: Canberra Vikings 36-35 Brisbane City.
