The man tasked to stop powerful running Australia’s second five eight and vice-captain, Samu Kerevi, has taken on the challenge.

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians’ Levani Botia said from Sapporo, Japan, yesterday: “I’m ready to do what my country has called me to do.”

Similar sentiments were echoed by Semi Radradra, Waisea Nayacalevu, Kini Murimurivalu and Tevita Cavubati who has called on the nation to pray for them as they try to do the impossible at the Rugby World Cup.

The Flying Fijians face Australia in their RWC opener at the Sapporo Dome this afternoon.

The match kicks off at 4.45pm.
