RWC 2019: Let’s Get Yato Back
Flying Fijian Peceli Yato is likely to be considered in the line-up to take on Georgia after passing medical assessments.

The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians are working hard to put on a sterling performance against Georgia in their third pool game of the Rugby World Cup.

“The boys had to do a lot of serious thinking last week,” head coach John McKee said yesterday from Otsu outside Osaka, Japan.

“It was all about making a turnaround after two disappointing performances. The boys want to put on a good performance in this all important must-win game against Georgia.”

McKee said after the short turnaround and the travelling the players had a rest day on Friday.

“It allows them to refresh and refocus on the task ahead. It was back to business.”

McKee had indicated that injured flanker Semi Kunatani has recovered and is likely to get a run against Georgia.

He highlighted that Peceli Yato had been doing non-contact training, but has progressed well. McKee said Yato could also be considered, if he passes all the medical assessments.
