China Celebrates 70th Anniversary With Their Biggest Military Parade

The People’s Republic of China will celebrate its’ 70th anniversary this morning with their biggest military parade.
The event will begin at 9am (Beijing time) when President Xi Jinping and his wife welcome guests from all over the world.
Fiji’s Ambassador to China Manasa Tagicakibau and Counsellor Ratish Singh will be attending the event today at Tiananmen Square.
Military bands and choir will sing songs to commemorate National Day and a firing salute will be held.
This will be followed by the raising of the national flag after which President Xi will deliver a speech.
He will also inspect troops of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) by car.

Equipment teams of the parade will be organized into six operational modules according to ground assault, anti-air missile, attack and defense at sea, strategic strike, information support and rear loading support.

To mark the end of the military parade tens of thousands of doves will be released into the air to signify peace.
