Anything For Fiji, Says Lomani

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians and Melbourne Rebels bound halfback Frank Lomani has set his sight on playing against the Barbarians at Twickenham Stadium, London on November 16.
This is the first international rugby match to be staged in the UK following the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
“I want to make that team and it’s up to the coaches who they select,” he said.
“I have a big and brighter future so I’m going to focus on that. Anything for the country I’ll put my hands up. If I make the team then I will be more grateful.”
On December 2, last year, the Lomani played for the Barbarians against Argentina at the same venue.
Lomani took the field in the 50th minute with Jesse Kriel and helped spark the Barbarians to fight back from a 27-7 deficit to edge out the Pumas 38-35.
Lomani said playing at the World Cup was a highlight to his young career.
“It’s a special one for me. I gained a lot of experience playing alongside some of the big names in the rugby world.
“I did my job but it was not the result that we were after but at least we tried. We just need to keep moving forward.”
