Sun Insurance’s state-of-the-art complex, SUN CENTRE in Nadi is expected to be completed next month.
This was revealed by Sun Insurance chairman Padam Lala this week.
It is a five-storey building.
Mr Lala said Sun Insurance would continue to invest in properties including retail.
“SUN CENTRE is expected to be completed by November this year,” Mr Lala said.
“This is the third real estate development that Sun Insurance is doing in Legalega, Nadi.
“This commercial building is a high-class executive office that we are doing. It is a five-storey and a major project.
“By the time it is completed it will be around $20m project.
“We will have two or three major clients in there. We had an expression of interest and we will be finalising that in the next four to six weeks.”
He said Sun Insurance has acquired some strategically located land in which multi-million-dollar projects are lined up in the next five years.
“This commercial building is a high class executive office that we are doing. It is a five storey and a major project,” he said.
“The first major project is the one we did in Valelevu where MH Valelevu is. This building (Sun Insurance building in Flagstaff) was the second investment and Legalega is our third major investment which is a commercial building.
“With the Nadi projects providing employment for 200 construction workers. The future investment by Sun Insurance in infrastructure and utility development will create many more jobs for Fijians,” Mr Lala said.
“I am very happy to say that a number of people have expressed interest in that property and we are so confident with Fiji economy we have are developing a property next to that one as well.
“We have a few projects that are already in the pipeline and we are happy with the investments that we have done and will do in the future.”
