The Tamavua estates project, collection of four luxury executive residences in one of Suva’s most sought after suburbs is in its final stages of construction works and is set to be opened in December.

This was the assurance made by project administrator Ashwin Padarath.

Mr Padarath said they were in the finishing stages of construction works and the homes set to be opened by the first week of December this year.

“We are finishing the tilling of all four residences and currently in the finishing stages,” Mr Padarath said.

“Swimming pools for all four residences are expected to be completed in two weeks’ time,” he said.

Tamavua Estates is designed by Conway Beg Architects, one of Fiji’s leading architects, with the custom-made residences setting a new standard in luxury family accommodation.

He says the homes include an open kitchen with dining and lounge areas, large glazed windows and doors providing natural light, ventilation and stunning views, spacious bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and master bedroom.

“It has imported kitchen finishing with stone benchtops, stainless steel appliances, feature lighting, air conditioning, imported porcelain floors, two garages and a resort-style master bedroom. Each home also has a private plunge pool.”

He said the development and building works were undertaken by Pacific Building Solutions Ltd (PBS).

PBS specialises in high-quality construction including resorts and hotels such as the Pearl South Pacific, Wyndham at Denarau, Red Bull Resort on Laucala Island, and luxury serviced apartments such the Palms in Denarau.

He added that the residences will also feature security that will meet any Embassy standards, making these residences a perfect rental investment or place to call home.

He said: “Minutes from Central Suva and yet far enough to escape the hustle and bustle, Tamavua Estates is located on Matanikutu Road in sought after Tamavua. Within close proximity to schools, shopping, dining along Princes Road and Suva City. Tamavua is a prestigious suburb in Suva that enjoys an elevated position with easterly views and breeze.

According to Mr Padarath, foreigners and non-residents can buy strata-titled units at Tamavua Estates without any restrictions.

“However, always consult a local lawyer to determine your buying entity and its status in Fiji.

“As the local zoning for the building is Residential B, which permits the development of strata developments, the local zoning laws permit houses to be rented for long term tenancies. However, your particular investment strategy should be discussed with a local lawyer and accountant.

“All buyers will be required to pay a 10 per cent deposit upon signing of a sale and purchase agreement with the balance due at settlement. The deposit can be in the form of electronic transfer or bank guarantee. All deposits will be held in the developer’s lawyer’s trust account.

He added that each residence will feature back up water for non-potable use, such as showers, flushing toilets and washing.”
