Miss Earth Fiji 2019, Ms Zaira Begg continues to make Fiji proud as she bagged another medal at the Miss Earth 2019 Pageant on Wednesday.

This time Miss Begg won a silver medal for the Miss Congeniality, Miss Earth FLORA 2019, Air Group category at the Miss Earth Pageant in Naga City, Philippines.

The gold and bronze medals in the Miss Congeniality, Miss Earth FLORA 2019, Air Group category were awarded to Chile and Mexico respectively.

Last week Miss Earth Fiji had bagged a bronze in the Talent Category.

Her talent was a contemporary piece which highlighted her Indo-Fijian and iTaukei identity.

On her Facebook page, Miss Begg expressed her condolences to the family of the late Police Constable Suita Niumataiwalu who was killed while chasing a known thief in Lautoka.

Miss Begg is also a member of the Fiji Police Force.

Miss Earth 2019 will be crowned by Nguyen Phuong Khanh of Vietnam, the current Miss Earth, on October 27, 2019 at Cove Manilla, Paranaque City, Philippines

There are 85 candidates in Manila vying for the title of Miss Earth 2019.

The theme for this year’s competition is: “Beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness”.
