Break And Entering At Lelean Memorial School To Access Exam Papers, Ministry Confirms

The Ministry of Education has issued a statement regarding Police investigations into the alleged tampering of Year 12 examination papers.
The Ministry is aware of an allegation of breaking and entering into Lelean Memorial School to get access to the examination papers for Year 12.
“The Police are investigating and, as a result, the Ministry is not in a position to comment.”
Police had received a report at the Nausori Police Station regarding the alleged tampering of Year 12 external examination papers at a Nausori based school.
A Police statement said the exam supervisor made the discovery this morning and found some of the sealed portions of the exam papers were already open.
The Ministry said exams for Year 12 at Lelean started today and will continue as scheduled.
