Police Probe Tampering Of Y12 Exam Paper

Lelean Memorial School in Nausori is under the spotlight after allegations of tampering of Year 12 examination papers emerged yesterday.

The exam supervisor made the discovery yesterday morning and found some of the sealed portions of the exam papers already open.

A report was immediately lodged at the Nausori Police Station.

The Ministry of Education issued the following statement yesterday:

“The Ministry of Education is aware of an allegation of breaking and entering into Lelean Memorial School to get access to the examination papers for Year 12.

“The Police are investigating and, as a result, the Ministry is not in a position to comment.”

Examination for all Year 12 students will continue as scheduled. Year 12 students sat for the Economics paper yesterday morning.
