Game changer
Savenaca Vakaliwaliwa, Suva
Thanks to two Westpac Bank managers, I have been inspired to tell Fiji and whoever reads this piece online to watch the documentary ‘The Game Changers’ and follow the truth revealed in it.
Westpac’s Martine Anthony sent a message to her work colleague Emerly Loloma, to watch the documentary and Ms Loloma recommended that I watch it too.
I did and I am inspired to spread the good news that if we Fijians are serious of being the way the world should be and reduce our ever-increasing statistics and deaths from both communicable and non-communicable diseases, let us watch, learn and by the power of God, change our diet to being vegans.
Westpac can be known as just another bank, but did you know that some of its staff members gets up at 4am in the morning to do fitness training before they turn up for work?
Now that they are promoting ‘The Game Changer’ and the vegan diet promoted by the documentary, the staff members involved are fitter, lost weight, have more energy and have a better concentration level leading to a better quality of work performance.
So what is Arnold Schwarzenegger and the elite athletes, special ops soldiers, visionary scientists, cultural icons, and everyday heroes are saying in this documentary?
They all testify that a plant-based diet propelled them to their athletic successes.
The documentary clearly shows how people are far healthier when they adopt a plant-based diet and eliminate meat from their diet.
Also, among the cast are leading research scientists and medical doctors who convey solid evidence of the benefits of a plant-based diet both for the environment and for people’s overall health leading to a better quality of life.
‘The Game Changers’ documentary is indeed life changing and I urge the Ministry of Health to promote it and all Fijians to watch it and make necessary adjustments to enjoy a better quality of life.
As a Christian, I just praise God the Creator because as we head towards the end of the road, all these findings just confirm that we have a loving heavenly Father who originally created human beings to live forever with Him and our diet was simply nuts, grains and fruits with vegetables added after the fall.
The vegan diet is simply going back to our original diet as planned by our Creator and enjoying its health benefits!
Slow motion
Wise Muavono, Lautoka
I was told that one Kali Silaitoga here in Balawa, after a heavy grog session, sat down to have his dinner. He looked up at the time, it was 2am.
Finished his dinner and when he looked up at the clock again, it was 3am.
Upon hearing this, I just quipped: “Kemudou (Oh my), he must have ate in slow motion.”
