Trough Of Low Pressure Will Bring Continuous Rain For Fiji Group
A heavy rain alert remains in force for Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands and Lau group.

The National Disaster Management Office is advising the public to be cautious as a trough of low pressure brings continuous rain into the Fiji group.

Those living near rivers, streams and low-lying areas are to exercise precaution as flash flooding may occur.

Parents are advised to be vigilant with children and to monitor their whereabouts.

The NDMO advises against swimming and playing near and in flooded rivers and creeks.

Motorists and pedestrians are strongly advised against crossing flooded roads and crossings.
