Frank Lomani Leads Fiji Against The Barbarians

Halfback Frank Lomani is going to captain the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians in their Test clash against the Barbarians at Twickenham, London on Sunday morning.
The Fiji Rugby Union yesterday confirmed that the Melbourne Rebels bound player takes over from Dominiko Waqaniburotu, who is not available for the clash.
In an exciting mix of youth and experience, head coach John McKee has named 10 players who are going to make their Test debut for the Flying Fijians.
McKee said the team would be intent on getting the basics right before opening up to deliver some free flowing Fijian style rugby.
“This game gives us great opportunity to expose some younger Fijian players, who can play for Fiji towards RWC 2023, to the big game atmosphere playing the Barbarians,” he said.
“It’s a great opportunity for the players to express themselves and make their mark for Fiji on the world stage.”
The match kicks-off at 3.30am (Fiji time) and will be shown live on Fiji One.
