Vikatore Scoops Dux For Monfort Boys In Savusavu

Nineteen-year-old Vikatore Foli Suvia dedicated his success to his mother after receiving the dux award at Monfort Boys Town in Savusavu over the weekend.
“I would like to thank the Almighty God, my parents, especially my mother,” Vikatore said.
“To all my relatives from Makolei, Solevu in Bua, my brother and sisters who have always supported me,” he said.
Emotional Vikatore is adamant to further his studies at the Fiji National University to pursue an Auto Mechanic course. His father, Eroni Suvia was proud of his eldest son’s achievement and looks forward for him to continue his studies in the tertiary institute.
“I decided to send my son to Montfort Boys Town as it is a well-known school in Fiji for its discipline high morale,” Mr Suvia said.
“I also went through the school and it made a difference in my life, therefore I want the same for my son.”
Mr Suvia recommended the institution to parents and guardians who wishes to send their children to further their education in vocational schools.
“When my son first joined Montfort, he was very shy. He now can speak and perform in public and is more confident, I am really proud of him,” he said.
