Eshita Scoops Dux Khemendra Central Primary School Award And High Scorer For Year 8 Exam

Eshita Rama was awarded the Dux and the top scorer for Fiji Year Eight Year Examination of Khemendra Central Primary School in Savusavu.
She scored 493 out of 500 in her external exam with 100 marks in English, Maths and Healthy Living, 98 in Basic Science, 95 in Social Science and 92 in Hindi.
The avid reader and sporty teenager will continue her secondary education at Savusavu Secondary
School before joining the School of Medicine as she aspires to become a doctor.
“I am really happy and feel proud of my achievements. I had put my effort into studying by myself, sacrificing my sleep and leisure time for studies,” Eshita said.
“I am excited and more surprised at the fact to be one of the highest scorers at the national level.
“For that, I would like to thank my parents and my teachers for their support and guidance,” she said.

Father, Edwin Rama said it was a proud moment for the family as his daughter had created history in Savusavu.
“This is a proud moment for the Rama family and we’re so thankful to be given the opportunity to be her parents,” Mr Rama said.
