‘Sniper’ Overweight, Fight Upgraded To Light Heavyweight Class

The feature clash between Sebastian ‘Sniper’ Singh and Australian Humzah ‘Raging Bull’ Khalid today will not be a title fight.
Instead, the duo will contest for the vacant IBO light heavyweight title at Prince Charles Park in Nadi yesterday.
This was confirmed by R& J coordinator Allen Harris last night after Singh was overweight by 1.6 kilos.
“Singh was again given the ultimatum to meet the weight limit. IBO executive Justin Kennedy declared the fight to go on with an upgrade,” Harris said.
The duo had initially signed for the vacant IBO super welterweight.
For the vacant WBF Australasian welterweight title Jese Ravudi remains optimistic of beating Ronald Naidu.
“The title is mine,” Ravudi said.
