The Grace Road (GR)Group has expanded its business to construction, restaurants and retail industry throughout Fiji.

Now GR Group has entered into property development and they have named their first commercial project ‘Grace Field’.

Grace Field embodies the experience and profound expertise from all of their businesses in one place.

The Grace Field Navua Mobil Service Station on Grace Field, Nakaulevu, Navua was opened yesterday by the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism Shaheen Ali.

The construction of the new service station owned and operated by Grace Road Trading Limited began in September 2018.

Mobil Oil (Fiji) Lead Country manager Adi Tamara said the new service station is a welcome addition to the Navua community, supporting local job opportunities nd supplying quality Mobil fuels.

There are three phases to the Grace Field development.

nThe first stage of the project was the Mobil service station which is an investment of $4m.

nThe second stage is a commercial shopping centre, to be completed by June next year.

nThe third stage is the development of residential buildings.

President of Grace Road Group Daniel Kim said: “Next year there will be more building development by Grace Road.

“Currently we are working on the residential buildings master plan and layout. We just finished the geotechnical assessment.

“Once the Geotech report comes out, then we will know how many apartment layers we can build. “But we aiming to build about 80-100 apartments behind our commercial complex on Grace Field.

“We would sell or lease the apartments.  It would a one stop shop on Grace Field.

“Yes we would strategically expand to other divisions.”

Grace Field Navua Mobil Service Station

Mr Kim says Navua Mobil Service Station, would provide one-stop service from fuelling to relaxation, refreshments and delicious meals.

“As you can see the service station offers beautiful landscaping and is complemented with True Mart and Sunny Pizza, a spacious parking lot, and not to forget, the cleanest restrooms in Fiji, and more; all for the convenience and comfort of drivers and travellers.

“But we are continuing development of Grace Field for people to find comfort and happiness so that it will be, not just a landmark of Navua, but to go beyond that, become a landmark of Fiji.

“We hope you find what we wish to convey through all the hard work Grace Road team has put into Grace Field.

“Our team has diligently given our passion and devotion to everything here.

“For example, from the concrete floor where we are all standing on now, to each tile on the walls, each flower planted by the road, to the wall painting that we drew, and each hand-carved letters of the Bible verse.

“And we put meaning into the world map at the counter, with Fiji as the centre of the world.

“We have expressed the hope and love for Fiji that Grace Road have in every way we can.

“I want to take this time to say that it has been six years since Grace Road began. Our children were also born here. They are already Fijians. And we will live with our children in this land forever.

“If someone asks us, “What does Fiji mean to us?

“We will simply tell them, “Fiji is everything to us,” Mr Kim said.
