Baber: No Pressure On Kavekini

Fiji Airways Fijian 7s coach Gareth Baber does not want to put pressure on Kavekini Tabu during the Dubai 7s.
The 25-year-old was named in the 12-member squad yesterday and is likely to make his debut against Japan or Argentina today.
Baber added they are going in with the intention of winning every game, every battle and contest on the field.
“This is the first time he (Kavekini) has ever played for Fiji and there is a huge learning that goes on for players when they put on the white jersey,” Baber said.
“What I want to see from him is to push him into the position to move himself on as an individual.
“Why would I over complicate it for him?
“The task at hand here is to get a player who has shown great skills in training and in competitions domestically here in Fiji and move him up.
“To elevate him to a point this season and hopefully he is going to be able to fly on his own and show everybody the potential that he has and what we have witnessed in our training.”
