Two people died yesterday following a horrific accident just 15 days away from Christmas.
The accident involved a bus and a private vehicle at Nabukavesi, Veivatuloa in Namosi. The private vehicle was on its way to pick up relatives from Nadi International Airport.
Police confirmed a third victim is in critical condition at the Colonial War Memorial (CWM) Hospital in Suva.
In light of this, the travelling public are urged to prioritise safety during this festive season, the Fiji Police Force has advised.
Police continue to record a number of serious road accidents.
