NFA Begins Investigations To The Vale Ni Bose Building Fire

National Fire Authority (NFA) attended to a fire incident that destroyed the Vale ni Bose building along Queen Elizabeth Drive in Suva this morning.
At 3.40 am, the Suva Fire Station was alerted of a fire at the iTaukei Trust Fund Complex and the fire crew immediately responded.
Upon arrival at the scene, the fire team saw the Vale Ni Bose building well involved in flames.
The fire team quickly used two deliveries of water from the 20,000 litres Fire
Tanker Truck and applied aggressive firefighting, preventing fire spreading to the attached offices.
Three fire trucks from Suva and one from Valelevu Fire Stations responded to the fire incident.
Twenty firefighters and 3 fire officers were at the scene to fight the fire this morning.
The firefighters are still at the scene to put out hot spots.
NFA will be conducting its investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
