Alleged Sexual Harassment Case: Credibility Question

Let’s talk credibility!!
A lot has been said about the senior business executive who is alleged to have sexually harassed a 22-year-old woman.
Now the only question is whether his story is credible or the woman’s story is credible.
Police are still investigating the case. The senior business executive’s lawyers have warned of defamation action over claims being made.This business executive is used to media attention.
He is an executive who can be in the media making more announcements than any other chief executive officer in the country.
On Thursday, he was called before a committee investigating the claims. This was set up by his board. The committee is understood to have the likes of prominent lawyer Devanesh Sharma on it. The senior business executive had to explain the sexual harassment allegations brought against him.
The meeting was held behind closed doors at Novotel Suva Lami Bay conference room.
The meeting report will be given back to his board for a decision.
The senior business executive is currently on a week’s leave and would resume work on Monday.
It is understood his one week leave was confirmed before the controversy over his alleged sexually harassment case. It was not related to it despite some claims he had been sent home from work.
The claims against him have surfaced on social media and been pushed by Opposition MP Lynda Tabuya.
The senior business executive actually is a Corporate Trainer in Motivation, Leadership, Financial Markets, Public Speaking and Communication for Banks, Rotaract Clubs.
He is has been in the executive committees for Pacific Corporate Governance Institute, Fiji USA Business Council, Fiji Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation, USP MBA Advisory Committee, Fiji Institute of Accountants, Fiji – PNG Business Council, Australian Institute of Comp. Directors – Fiji and the Fiji Exporters’ Council.
He is also a strong supporter of Women In Business and is one of the respected board members in the country.
So much standing in the corporate world and yet people are questioning his credibility? More to come.
