Our U18 Sevens Boys Lose To Tonga

The Fijian Under-18 sevens (boys) team went down 31-12 to Tonga during the plate final of the World Schools Sevens tournament in Auckland, New Zealand yesterday.
The Tongan side dominated the first half 0-17 with tries from Sofai Maka (2) and Tonga Mau (1).
The Fijians made a comeback during the second half with a try to Evironi Koroibau 5-19.
The Tongans proved too strong scoring their fourth try in the 10th minute to increase their lead 24-5, with a successful conversion, 26-5.
Viliame Qalovi made a final attempt at a try to close the gap, 26-10.
Despite having 6 men on the field, Tonga managed to score another try through Sam Howling to close the game at 31-12.
The Condor New Zealand Boys were crowned the winners of the Cup final after thrashing NZ Fijians Boys 43-5.
Meanwhile, Seremaia Bai’s Fiji Rugby Academy boys won the Bowl final after defeating Sydney Pasifika Boys 21-12.
Rugby Academy Fiji girls thrashed National Indigenous Australia Girls 30-7 in the Shield final.
