Fuli: More Work For Fijiana

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s will not rest on their laurels after a good performance in the second cluster of the Women Seven Series in Dubai and Cape Town.
The side is in the eighth spot with 20 points after three stops behind leader New Zealand (56), Australia (50), USA (48), Canada (44), France (40), Russia (24) and Spain (22).
The Fijiana 7s reached the Cup quarter-finals for the first time in two seasons in Cape Town.
“That’s the plan after the series last year. We had to uplift everything in terms of strength,” Coach Saiasi Fuli said.

“The back-to-back tournament was tough for the girls.
“We expect Hamilton and Sydney to be tough as well. It will take two – three weeks as the turnaround is short.
“It is challenging for us managing the team, all want to enjoy. If you rest you will suffer if you work and train harder you will reap the rewards. We will do the hard work until we get good signs. We will continue to do.” The Hamilton Sevens is set for January 25-26.
