Four men allegedly robbed a supermarket based in Wairebetia, Lautoka yesterday morning.

Police Spokesperson Savaira Gonedua confirmed the incident.

“Police are looking for four men that allegedly robbed a supermarket in Wairabetia, Lautoka this morning (yesterday),” she said.

Ms Gonedua said it is alleged that the four men armed with cane knives stole cash and assorted items.

“Police investigation continues and members of the public with information are requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919,” she said.

The staff of Miki’s Supermarket refused to comment on the daylight robbery as a directive had been passed by the managerial level staff to avoid disclosing any information until police had completed investigations.
