Boxer Sebastian Singh was arrested on Thursday night for allegedly assaulting his wife, the Fiji Police Force has confirmed.
And a prominent NRL star is in custody at the Nadi Police Station.
Police spokesperson Savaira Tabua said Singh is in custody at the Totogo Police Station and is yet to be charged.
The incident happened in Samabula.
Singh is currently the Fiji welterweight champion.

A prominent NRL star winger was taken in for questioning at the Nadi Police Station on Thursday.
Here for the Christmas holiday, he spent the night at the Nadi Police Station.
