Lateef On Bail Again For Alleged Drug Possession

Magistrate Daurewa said the court was of the view that Lateef would be granted bail.

Former Suva lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef, once again, has been granted bail by the Magistrates Court in Suva.

Lateef appeared yesterday before Magistrate Joseph Daurewa for an alleged drug cases.

In the light of the submissions made by both lawyers, Magistrate Daurewa said the court was of the view that Lateef would be granted bail.

Lateef was ordered to sign a bail bond of $1000 and two sureties to sign a bail bond of $1000 each. He was also ordered not to reoffend while on bail, not to leave the country as a stop departure order was issued and to report to the Raiwaqa Police Station every Saturday between 6am and 6pm.
