Fire Engulfs Two Homes In Vusuya, Nausori

It is alleged that the fire started from the Supervisor’s property and due to strong winds, it spreads to the other house that is owned by a 43-year-old taxi driver.

Fire Engulfs Two Homes In Vusuya, Nausori

A three-bedroom house and another home in Vusuya, Nausori were destroyed in a fire this afternoon.

The house belonged to a 52-year-old supervisor while the other property was occupied by a family.

Both properties were fully engulfed in flames when Police arrived at the scene.

It is alleged that the fire started from the Supervisor’s property and due to strong winds, it spreads to the other house that is owned by a 43-year-old taxi driver.

The cost of damages for the first house is estimated at $120,000 while the other property projected at a cost of $90,000.

No injuries were reported.
