About 20 children of Navakai Housing Assistance Relief Trust (HART) Home in Nadi have received their new set of stationery and books for the new school term.

This was after the Western Charity Alliance group and Vodafone Fiji Foundation visited the home to distribute books and stationery before the school term for 2020 begins tomorrow. The children attend schools in the Nadi area.

The charity group’s executive director, Jitendra Naidu, said along with Vodafone Fiji Foundation they were content to hand over the packages to the children.

Mr Naidu said their donations came from the kind hearts who also helped with the items.

“It is not much, but we managed to get some assistance from our loved ones who have faith in our NGO,” he said.

“We hope that we have been helpful to the students living here at the Navakai HART Home.

“We have been helping a lot of people. whatever the need Western Charity is ready to help.”

The charity group is thankful to Vodafone Fiji Nadi Branch, Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation, Gyan Prachaar Ramayan Faag Mandali, Selva Tours, Mr and Mrs Nitya Nand and family.

HART Home leader Rusila Bakabaka said the members were appreciative to the kind hearts who assisted their children.

“Thank you to the charity organisation for its help, this support will help children in their studies to achieve their dreams,” she said.
