Dalip Buses Open New Route

Company general manager, Kunal Chand said they have extended their services to Lekutulevu in Macuata Province with three trips a day.

Dalip Chand and Son Bus Limited opened a new route in Labasa yesterday.

Company general manager, Kunal Chand said they have extended their services to Lekutulevu in Macuata Province with three trips a day.

“The first trip would leave Lekutulevu at 6.45am, second leaving Labasa town at 1pm and the last trip is at 5.10pm,” Mr Chand said.

“The road condition has improved, therefore the new bus route is to accommodate the public leaving further than Dreketilailai.”

Meanwhile, bus operators in the Northern Division to busy transporting students to school on the first school day for the year.

Northern Buses Director, Rajendra Deo Prasad said they would be able to know more on the number of students who travelled on their buses yesterday once they receive the data from Vodafone Fiji Limited.

“We had a busy start as it is always the case when school begins and students are travelling to school by bus,” Mr Prasad said.

Parmod Enterprises Limited General Manager, Edwin Chand said their buses operated as scheduled on any given school day and operations were normal.
