The CK Suva Bargain Tabadamu 7s side will look to improve on their game structures at the 2020 McDonald’s Coral Coast Sevens, which starts tomorrow.

Tabadamu will have the services of national squad members Terio Tamani, Peniamino Vota and Leo Naikasau as they look to win the second domestic 7s title of 2020.

Tamani will captain the side as they look to better their performance from last year when they lost out to Police in the final.

“We will have to improve on a lot of things in this week’s tournament. We will be working on our defence, set pieces and attacking structure that will help the team,” he said.

“We will also try and focus on our tackle areas to avoid yellow cards. It is important to keep our cool during our defence and around the ruck areas.”

“We were runners up last year so this year we are going to try harder to win the Coral Coast 7s. We just have to take things one at a time and play according to our game plans.”

Tamani expects competition to be tough, given that it is an international tournament.

However, the nippy playmaker is confident his side can compete with the best and clinch a famous win.

“It’s the coral coast 7s so all teams have been preparing well for it so for us it’s making sure we are doing the small things right,” he said.

“We won’t underestimate any team during the tournament and will treat all the games as a final.”
