Hamilton 7s: Baber To Keep Opposition Guessing

Fiji Airways Fijian 7s coach Gareth Baber has opted to keep their pool opponents guessing when he selected his 12-member team yesterday.
Nippy speedster Alasio Naduva is the 13th player and will only be considered if one of the players is injured during the tournament.
Baber has kept Waisea Nacuqu, Livai Ikanikoda and Napolioni Bolaca in his line-up and would use them to his advantage when they face Samoa today at 12.47pm and Australia at 6.35pm.
“Utility players Waisea Nacuqu, Livai Ikanikoda and Napolioni Ratu can play in several positions in the back-line, offering us flexibility in our approach to each opponent” said Baber.
Also, forcing his return to the line-up is utility Asaeli Tuivuaka while Apenisa Cakaubalavu gets his chance to cement his spot in the forwards.
Cakaubalavu, a seasoned campaigned is very strong in defence and a very good support player. He was one of the unsung heroes when they hoisted the 2018/19 HSBC World Sevens Series.
