The search operations for a father and his daughter who were reported missing after crossing the Wainikavou creek in Serua has been called off.
The search efforts went on for nine days and a decision has been made to call off the search over the weekend.
Napolioni said his father met him and Aliti at the bank of the Wainikavou River to carry them to the other side of the river. The river flows into the Navua River.
They were swept away by the strong river currents.
