Asco Motors has come on board as one of the major sponsors for the upcoming Fiji Sports Awards on February 15.

The sponsorship is worth $5000 and will go towards the Team of the Year category.

Asco Motors, leasing manager Mark Magnus said the sponsorship matched the company’s teamwork-driven work environment.

“We chose to sponsor this because it works quite well with the culture at Asco with what we do,” Magnus said.

“With over 350 employees we need them to work as a team to deliver the services to the public.

“We would like to be the best and we are trying very hard to be that.

“I’m sure that a lot of teams that are going to be bidding at the sports awards.”

Fiji Sports Council chief executive officer, Litiana Loabuka, thanked Asco for the sponsorship.

Loabuka said: “Fiji Sports Awards is always grateful we thank all the corporates that always come forward to provide sponsorship for this categories,” she said.

“Your faith in the Fiji Sports Awards in delivering the mileage that I know Asco Motors will be great to have.

“That is something we will make sure to deliver in the next few weeks and months once we have announce the winners there will also be the winner for Asco Motors Team of the Year that they are sponsors of.”
