Despite the fact that his father worked as a director, he discouraged Kaushal from pursuing acting as a career. He was encouraged by his father to get into a career in engineering and he went to college to study this. According to a source, a friend close to Katrina spilled the beans saying “They are not in a relationship formally, but they are definitely interested in each other’s company, the source stated.
Few reports mention that it is just a publicity stunt for the movie, but fans of the actors don’t care too much for those. Fans have embarked on a matchmaking trip on social media by latching on to the hashtag #VikKat to state how good a couple both of them would make.

He’s really scared of deep water bodies. In his first film, Masaan, he had to do a major sequence diving into the river, that too in the night. It was very scary for the actor as he was in the middle of the river for about four hours while they shot that sequence.

Vicky will be next seen in Bhanu Pratap Singh's Bhoot—Part One: The Haunted Ship opposite Bhumi Pednekar, coming out on February 24 which is based on a true accident and tells the story of a couple on an abandoned ship lying static on a beach.
And for most of this year, Vicky is going to shoot for Karan Johar’s Takht and has already started to shoot for Udham Singh. He will also be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming biopic on Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
