Two men and a teenager appeared at the High Court in Suva yesterday, separately charged in sexual offence cases on the same complainant.

The 19-year-old is charged with raping an 11-year-old complainant.

The alleged incident occurred during the term two school holidays in 2019, in Lomaiviti.

The accused is the complainant’s uncle.

In the second case, a 70-year-old man is charged with two counts of raping the same complainant.

The alleged incident occurred during term two of school in 2018, in Lomaiviti when the complainant was 10 years old.

For the third case, a 69-year-old man is also charged with raping the complainant.

The alleged incident occurred during term one of the school holidays in 2018, in Lomaiviti.

The complainant was 10 years old at the time of the alleged offence.

The accused is the complainant’s granduncle.

All three accused have been further remanded and the matter adjourned for mention on February 12.
