TDO6F: Expect Heavy Rain, Rough Seas, Strong Wind Warning Next Week

Flooding brought by heavy rain is expected early next week for the whole of Fiji.

The Fiji Meteorological Service has issued heavy rain and flooding for most parts of Fiji.

A report from the centre in Nadi said from as early as Monday and Tuesday next week, there will be strong winds, heavy rains, rough seas, and flooding.

The weather forecast states that a tropical depression disturbance TDO6F was lying to the west of Vanuatu but not close to Fiji when this article went to press.

“It is still a disturbance at the moment and we expect it to intensify possibly into a depression over the weekend and into a cyclone early next week.”
