Former Fijian 7s players have been included in this invitation side for this weekend’s 32nd Vailima Marist International Sevens tournament in Apia, Samoa.

The team are part of the Achieve Your Impossible (AYI) programme.

The side is coached by former Fiji Airways Fijian 7s vice-captain Isake Katonibau.

The side have recalled Olympians Kitione Taliga and Samisoni Viriviri.

Also making the team is halfback Emosi Mulevoro and Pio Tuwai who were part of Ben Ryan’s extended training squad to the 2016 Olympic Games.

Other former 7s players are livewire hooker Jone Vota, Manueli Laqai and Glen Cakautini.

The team are expected to leave for Apia on Thursday.

It is understood that two players would be included to the team

Squad- Joseva Nakava (Tabadamu), Jone Vota (Tabadamu), Keponi Paul (Police), Pio Tuwai (Westfield), Manueli Laqai (Tabadamu), Emosi Mulevoro (Army), Kitione Taliga (Police), Glen Cakautini (Uluinakau), Samisoni Viriviri (Police),  Rusiate Matai (Police).
