Feroz Happy With Lelean Memorial School Inter-House Competition
Lelean Memorial School will field a strong team for Naitasiri/Nasinu/Nausori Zone next month.
School principal Mohammed Feroz was a confident man after the inter-house competition at the ANZ Stadium in Suva yesterday.
“We are very happy with the performance today,” Feroz said.
“It was all about the formalities and ensuring that our students get the time needed to qualify for the Coca-Cola Games.”
Feroz added they would be taking 50 athletes to the zone and 20 athletes to the Coke Games.
“As principal, I am in charge of looking after our athletes that will participate in the 3000, 800 and 1500 metres,” Feroz said.
“Other teachers would ensure that our sprinters and field events athletes are well prepared.
“They will be divided into two groups and training will commence on Tuesday.”
Naucukidi won the inter-house, the second was Mateinaniu, third Varani and fourth Bulu.
