John Wesley College Target Rugby League Finals

The John Wesley College rugby league teams have set their sights in making the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools rugby league finals.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday vice-principal Apenisa Seninawanawa said they are focused in trying to achieve their target.
“Our aim this year is to reach the national finals in all grades and to win one will be a bonus,” he said.
“But we’ll have to do the small things right and try to win the rest of our games. We’ve been preparing well for the last few months.
“We’ve been facing a shortage of players but we’ve managed to put together a talented group of young players.
“There’s been a lot said and done but we would love to leave everything aside and make a statement on the ground with whatever team we’re playing on the day.”
Seninawanawa said the students understand that the competition would be tough against Eastern giants Ratu Kadavulevu School and Queen Victoria School.
“ We can only win the zone play-offs and the national finals if we do the small things right. The team need to execute our game plan and all the discipline of the game in order to win,” he added.
