Four players from the Sigatoka River Safari Nadroga XV have been eyed by clubs in Southland, New Zealand.
This was confirmed by the Nadroga Rugby Union president Tiko Matawalu as the team arrived at Nadi International Airport yesterday.
The side lost 31-45 to the Southland Invitational XV at Waimumu as part of the Southern Field Days on Thursday.
He made it clear that NRU would not hold back any player who wish to secure overseas contract.
“Four players have been approached by the clubs. We will talk it over with the players and their families, if the offer is good enough for them,” he said.
He added the match was a great eye-opener for the team.
