Lae Snax Tigers Ready To Defend Melanesian Cup

The Stanley Tepend-coached Lae Snax Tigers aim to continue their unbeaten run on Fijian soil against the Ravoravo Rabbitohs in the Melanesian Cup match at Churchill Park, Lautoka on Saturday.
Team manager Stanley Hondina said they are confident of defending the title.
“We know we are playing a tough Fijian side. We know they have not won the Melanesia Cup before and the pressure would be on them,” he said.
“We have a pretty young side but we are confident.
“We know former Tigers strongman Tikiko Noke will be playing for the Rabbitohs.”
The match kicks off at 4pm with the curtain –raiser between the Kaiviti Silktails and Wigmen at 2pm.
