The Fiji Police Force acknowledges the support of Korolevu and Namoli villagers in Navosa following the seizure of more than 5,000 plants and 30 bags of dried leaves later tested positive to be marijuana.
A 21year old man from Korolevu, Navosa has been charged with one count of unlawful cultivation and two counts of found in possession of illicit drugs.
The suspect allegedly owned the two farms where more than 5000 plants were uprooted and a subsequent search led to the discovery of more than $5,500 cash alleged to have been obtained from the sale of drugs.
