“Like my late brother Joy Ali, who was Fiji’s golden boy I was also the best pound for pound boxer in the country. In this fight it will be the same."

Former Fijian bantamweight, featherweight and welterweight champion Junior Farzan ‘The Razor’ Ali will leave no stones unturned when he takes on Krishnil Mudaliar for the vacant Fijian super featherweight title at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva next Saturday.

The veteran boxer told SUNsports yesterday that he has gone through a lot of issues in life but he’s looking forward to the title fight.

“The razor is sharper than before,” Farzan said.

“Like my late brother Joy Ali, who was Fiji’s golden boy I was also the best pound for pound boxer in the country. In this fight it will be the same.

“Since 2016 I’ve never prepared myself well for fights, as I had a lot of issues with my kids, as they are now big.

“I’m coming back as I’ve fought this guy the last time. For this fight I have been preparing well.”

Farzan said Mudaliar has nowhere to hide as he is coming for him.

“Prepare well and it does not matter who he’s training with. I want the fans to be also there in numbers.”
