The case involving the alleged murder of a family in the Nausori Highlands was heard again in the High Court in Lautoka on Tuesday.

The hearing saw Iqbal Khan, who is representing murder accused Mohammed Raheesh Isoof, and State prosecutor Semi Babitu signing the pre-trial checklist and agreed facts, although he said he would dispute the time the second clearer CCTV copy was provided to them by the prosecution.

Judge Justice Chamath Morais adjourned the case to March 24, for the pre-trial conference (PTC) and further remanded Isoof.

Isoof, charged with murder and attempted murder, is alleged to have murdered carpenter Nirmal Kumar, his 54-year-old wife Usha Devi, their 34-year-old daughter Nileshni Kajal and her two daughters Sana aged 11 and Samara aged eight years old between August 25 and 26 last year in the Nausori Highlands. Isoof has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
