Waiyavi, Lautoka Fatal Hit And Run Suspect Released
A suspect whom Police believe is the driver of an alleged fatal hit and run accident in Waiyavi, Lautoka, has been released.
This was confirmed yesterday by Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro.
The suspect is alleged to have hit Tomuka resident, Mosese Nasilasila, last Friday night. He later died.
The suspect, who is in his 30s, was arrested earlier this week after Police officers found the suspected vehicle parked at the suspect’s home in Lautoka, covered with a tarpaulin.
Police are now waiting for the forensic test results as they continue their investigations.
The late Mr Nasilasila had married Lanieta Tuivomo Nasilasila about a month ago and welcomed their first child, Laniana Bucobuco Nasilasila, soon after that.
