Wes Brown Here For Fiji FA Awards Night

Fiji Football Association awards night‘s main guest speaker Wes Brown arrived into the country yesterday.
Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel said the former Manchester United and England defender has been in love with the Pacific.
“Wes has been to Tahiti in 2019 through the FIFA Legends Club and is very much in love with the Pacific Islands as a result he managed to change his very busy schedule to make his way to Fiji for this grand occasion,” said Patel.
Brown stepped in after former Liverpool and Australian star striker Harry Kewell withdrew due to coronavirus.
Patel said they are grateful to FIFA Legends Club spokesperson Stefanie Krisch for getting Brown as replacement.
RECOGNITION
The annual awards night is for Fiji FA to honour the players, team officials, match officials, administrators, volunteers for all the hard work they have done in the 2019 season.
In las year’s awards night, a special presentation was given to Roy Krishna for his achievements in the Australian A- League where he was the recipient of the Johnny Warren medal.
He now plays for ATK in the Indian Super League.
Meanwhile, Fiji FA released the name of those nominated for tomorrow’s awards night at the Pullman Nadi Bay Resort.
