Today is crucial for the Fijian Latui as they open their Global Rapid Rugby campaign against China Lions. Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors face Junior Japan to determine the 2020 World Rugby Pacific Challenge winners.

Warriors captain Tuidraki Samusamuvodre said they were expecting a tough battle against the fast Japanese side, but were confident of doing well.

Latui head coach Senirusi Seruvakula made changes in their line-up last night as they plan to hold the Lions who have 17 players from the Bay of Plenty club who featured in last year’s Mitre 10 competition in New Zealand and won.

The Warriors take on Junior Japan at 3.30pm, followed by the Fijian Latui v Lions showdown at 6.15pm at the ANZ Stadium, Suva.

Tickets are $10 for the grandstand, $5 for the ground and $2 for children under 12.
