Police have confirmed that the driver of the tank truck that crashed into Vuda River, misjudged the width of the bridge.
It was raining and flooding in the Lautoka area yesterday, with traffic being held up and diverted.
When contacted yesterday, Pacific Energy chief executive officer, Randall Vallette, said they were still assessing the cause of the accident.
