ANZ Customers Encouraged To Use Digital Channels: Minam

ANZ Fiji Country Head, Saud Minam is encouraging all ANZ customers to use the digital channels, in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Minam said: “As we all know, the main topic of discussion these days is the coronavirus (COVID-19), which has spread over 140 countries.
“By the grace of God we have been blessed in Fiji that we do not have any confirmed cases here.
“These are unprecedented times and we require everyone to take cautions and support each other to keep this country safe.”
As World Health Organisation (WHO) has explained, he noted: “One of the biggest steps towards fighting the disease is social distancing, keeping that in mind, I would like to encourage all our customers to make the maximum use of digital channels.
“Please make sure you are enrolled on the ANZ app or internet banking where you will be able to transact between ANZ accounts, local transfers and bill payments free of charge.
“At the same time, avoid using cash as much as possible, use local access cards which does not attract any charges and you can charge as low as a dollar at any ANZ FPOS terminals.
“All large corporates who are already enrolled on our award winning internet banking platform (Transactive) are encouraged to utilise all services of Transitive to its maximum capacity.
“You can make all local payments just by uploading a file and there is no need to send anyone to a branch to perform any transaction.
“The safety of our staff and our customers is paramount to ANZ and we are taking all precautionary methods to ensure we continue to provide services to our customers. For enquires please contact our call centre at 3213000.
“Stay safe, vinaka vakalevu.”
