Fijian 7s Players Monitored: O’Connor

Members of the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s training squad are being closely monitored for coronavirus, says Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’ Connor.
This followed after two members of the Australian 7s team were tested for coronavirus forcing Rugby Australia headquarters to close down for two days for an intensive clean-up.
Rugby Australia confirmed the two players had displayed symptoms associated with the virus over the weekend and were in self-isolation.
“As a precautionary measure, Rugby Australia headquarters has been closed for two days,” the statement read.
“All administrative staff have been advised to work from home, and the Australian Men’s and Women’s Sevens teams will not attend the facility on Monday or Tuesday.
